Veterinary Technician

Lexington-Bedford Veterinary Hospital is looking for a full time or part time Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a busy multi-doctor, full-service small animal and exotics hospital. We are looking for a technician that wants to join a hospital that is dedicated to practicing the highest quality medicine, and forming lasting relationships with our clients and patients.

Candidates with experience in the following areas are preferred: venipuncture, pharmacy duties, lab work, radiology and handling medical records. Exotics experience is a plus; a willingness to learn is a must!

Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. A caring and compassionate attitude, and a strong dedication to teamwork are required of all members of our team.

Receptionist

Hardworking, Friendly, Proactive, Team Player wanted!

Lexington Bedford Veterinary Hospital, is looking for a veterinary receptionist to join our team. We are a high quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital. Our hospital boasts an enjoyable working environment with great leadership and excellent support staff. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule however, rotating evening and Saturday shifts will be required.

This position is responsible for managing multiple phone lines, booking appointments, greeting clients, processing payments, and ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is clean and presentable at all times.

Candidates must have excellent skills in the following areas: client service, sales, communication, and multi-tasking. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, outgoing personality, a high level of computer proficiency and exceptional telephone communication ability. Most importantly, applicants must be team players who enjoy working as part of a team in a high energy, fast-paced environment. Priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary hospital.

Pet Care Attendant P/T

Lexington-Bedford Veterinary Hospital is looking for part-time Pet Care Attendant to join our team. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule however, rotating Saturday, Sunday, and holiday shifts will be required. Duties may include walking dogs, cleaning dog runs/cages and cat cages (in both the kennel and hospital areas), feeding pets in the kennel, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the hospital and kennel area. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills.

This position requires a responsible individual who is capable of working independently. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
